Eligibility & Selection
Diamond Elite is an invitation-based program designed for dancers who demonstrate the readiness, commitment, and overall fit required for an elevated training and competition experience. Placement within Diamond Elite is limited and is determined at the sole discretion of the studio.
To be considered, dancers must meet the program’s minimum training and participation expectations. Invitations are then based on overall readiness for the pace, structure, and demands of the program.
This program is designed for dancers who are already performing at an intermediate to advanced level within their age division (solos, duos, trios, or group numbers only). Dancers should demonstrate a well-developed technical skill set within their primary styles, including acrobatic elements, and/or turns and leaps demonstrated with control, consistency and proper execution. Dancers must prioritize their competitive training over outside conflicts.
Dancers must also show:
- Technical foundation and current skill level.
- Consistency in focus, effort, and class engagement/behavior
- Ability to learn, retain, and apply corrections
- Independence, confidence, and personal responsibility
- Readiness to manage the expectations and structure of the program
- Weekly studio training commitment and class participation
All placements and continued participation are determined at the discretion of the studio and are based on a dancer’s ability to consistently meet the expectations of the program.
Program Pathways & Development
DIAMOND ELITE was created in response to dancers who have expressed a desire for additional opportunities, increased challenge, and a more expanded competition experience within the Crown Jewels program.
At the same time, it’s important to recognize that every dancer’s journey looks different, and growth, confidence, and readiness all develop at their own pace. Not every dancer is meant to follow the same path and that is completely okay. The core Crown Jewels program remains the heart of our team, providing a strong, supportive, and competitive environment where dancers continue to grow, build confidence, and find success at every level.
For dancers who may not receive an invitation at this time, families are welcome to connect with studio faculty for guidance on areas of focus, including training recommendations, class placement, and skill development to support future readiness.
Diamond Elite is simply an extension of that foundation, created for dancers who are currently aligned with its specific structure and expectations.
