Q: What do classes cost?
A: TUITION BREAKDOWN
Tuition is now based on a flat annual rate, divided into eight equal payments:
Tuition is due at the first class of each month.
Youth classes - $352/year $44 per installment
Adult classes - $384/year $48 per installment

Other Important Notes:
- Weekly payments are no longer the standard format.
EXCEPTION: Families taking more than five classes weekly may opt for weekly payments without
incurring the $75 surcharge.

A: Yes, absolutely! The more information you write on your registration sheet, the better.
Please note: NLSD staff members must account for a student's age and experience when placing them in a class. Please trust their knowledge with this process.

A: Costumes range in price from $65 - $95

A: NLSD is home to the North Country's largest dance event! Our beloved five-show production brings families, friends, and the community together to celebrate every performer. Each dancer performs in at least one show.

A: Unfortunately, we do not at this time. Adaptive dance classes require adaptive dance instructors holding a specialized degree. We would be happy to direct you to dance studios that do.

Instead of letting students
self-select based on age/day alone, our experienced faculty places each dancer where they'll thrive most.
If you've ever been frustrated watching your child placed in a class where others hold them back, our approach is designed to prevent exactly that. Students are placed where they can grow, be challenged, and shine.
This Smart Scheduling method ensures every class is balanced, developmentally appropriate,
and geared toward real progress.
We've used this system for decades, and it's a big reason why our dancers consistently advance and succeed. Choosing a class based on the day of the week, simply doesn't make sense
when your goal is growth.
Need to avoid certain days?
Just let us know on your registration form. With multiple class options at each level, we'll be able to place your dancer appropriately, while working around your schedule.
You will receive a call or text, the week prior to class commencement, with your schedule choices.
