COVID-19 SAFETY PROCEDURES
The guidelines below are tentative. We hesitate to make any permanent decisions on masking or the waiting room considering the ever-changing status of the CDC and New York State guidelines.

2022-2023 SIGNED WAIVER
- All NLSD FAMILIES MUST HAVE SIGNED AND MAILED OUR NEW 2022-2023 WAIVER BEFORE ENTERING OUR FACILITIES.
OBSERVATION
- There are no mask mandates at this time.
- Students are allowed one guest in the waiting room, if absolutely necessary.
- We ask that dancers and guests do not enter the building more than five minutes before their class time. Please exit the building at dismissal time to avoid over-crowding with the next class.
ILLNESS
- We highly recommend assessing the health of yourself and your child before entering the facility. If any symptoms are present that may indicate an illness of any kind, please do not attend class.
ENHANCED CLEANING PROCEDURES
- We have increased our cleaning frequencies and sanitation procedures of high traffic areas and high touch surfaces of the studio such as: door handles, barres, floors, props, mats and bathrooms.
- Facilities will be be cleaned and sanitized according to a set schedule at the end of each class day.
- NLSD has also hired a professional cleaning service for enhanced deep cleaning.
- Hand sanitizing stations remain in both waiting rooms.
BATHROOM USE
- We encourage all students to use the restroom at home before attending class.
- Bathrooms will be disinfected daily.
